Teachers will develop their knowledge, understanding, and skills to support individual student needs in the classroom. They will gain insight into Special Education, including the referral process, components of an Individualized Education Program (IEP), and ways to collaborate with their special education team to implement set supports.

Lauren currently serves as an instructional designer at Stride. She previously worked as a K-5 special education teacher because of its focus on the individual student. In her free time, she loves to dance and read true crime novels.
