Payment: Stride requires payment (either in full or by monthly subscription) prior to access of the content within our learning management system.
Taxes: All listed costs are exclusive of all federal, state, municipal or other governmental sales and other taxes now in force or enacted in the future. You agree to pay all applicable taxes. If you are tax-exempt, you must provide Stride with your exemption certificates or other acceptable evidence of your tax-exempt status.
Subscriptions: If you register for a monthly subscription, the initial one-month cost is at the current monthly subscription charge. Subsequent one-month charges will be at the monthly subscription charge in effect on the date of renewal. You will be charged pursuant to the method and terms of payment you indicated during checkout unless you notify Stride of a new method by 11:59 pm on the day before your renewal date. Your subscription will continue indefinitely, for one-month terms, until you cancel it. You may cancel by notifying the Stride PD Center (SPDC) at StridePDCenter@k12.com. Cancellations will become effective at 11:59PM Eastern Standard time at the end of the monthly subscription term of the date you notify SPDC. To cancel before a new one-month term, you must cancel at least the last workday of the week (holidays excluded) before a new term begins. By submitting your order, you agree to these terms.
Access: After you have paid the appropriate fees and accepted the required terms and conditions, you will receive access to the appropriate content packaging within our learning management system.
Suspension and Termination: Stride may suspend your content access without additional notice (1) if you are on a monthly subscription and we have not received payment for service, or (2) for operational reasons.
Materials, unless contained within the free portion, may be used only for the benefit of the individual paying. You may not reproduce or distribute any Materials or transfer or sell any Materials to any third party, except to the extent legally permissible.
Refund Policy/Suspension of Payment Plan
Refund Policy: All sales are FINAL and no refunds shall be made.
Suspension of Payment Plan: No refunds are available for any of the subscription plans, customized course bundles, or per course purchases.
Dispute Resolution and Binding Arbitration
The parties will attempt in good faith to settle all disputes arising from or in connection with these Terms including without limitation the validity, interpretation, performance and breach hereof, through a process of mediation in Fairfax County, Virginia, USA under the supervision of a mutually agreed upon mediator. If mediation fails to settle such a dispute, the parties mutually agreed to binding arbitration in Fairfax County, Virginia, USA, conducted in English by a single arbitrator in accordance with the rules of the American Arbitration Association as the sole forum for disputes, except that judgment upon the award rendered may be entered in any court having jurisdiction thereof. In the event of arbitration, the prevailing party will be entitled to reasonable attorney’s fees, costs, and other disbursements.
Upon accepting these Terms, you represented that you are the purchaser willingly entering into this agreement with Stride for the identified content.
A waiver of any part of these Terms in one instance is not a waiver of any other part or any other instance. Notices are considered delivered when either party sends them by email to the email address provided by the other party or 3 days after mailing by first-class mail, return receipt requested, to the most recent address provided by the other party. If any part of these Terms is held invalid for any reason, the remaining provisions shall not in any way be affected or impaired. These Terms and other documents to which it refers form the entire agreement with respect to the subject matter herein.
