Summer School is an additional term offered at the end of the school year during the summer months. It typically starts after the school’s current school year end date and ends before your school’s next school year term start date.
Each PowerSchool instance has a “Jump Start School” as a separate school. Some instances have multiple Jump Start Schools if the schools need them separated. The purpose of having a separate “school” is to allow access to courses prior to the school start date or after the school end date. All summer school sections should be created in the Jump Start School, and students will be remotely enrolled into those sections.
