Why this FREE course and why now?
The Stride Professional Development Center believes in the power of this model and wants to share its value to all educators. Even though this course to time and effort to build, we are releasing it free to the public.
We also believe that the Problem of Practice (PoP) model empowers educators to to learn from one another in a non-threatening yet meaningful way. To that end, Darren Reed, our Senior Vice President, will take you through the simple structure that can be applied in multiple settings and yield amazing results in only 30 minutes. Of course, you could adjust each phase of PoP to lengthen this process but that extra time is unnecessary.
What You Receive from this FREE course:
- Brief history of the protocol.
- Leader perspective on the potential for change through using this model.
- Explanation and description of each role.
- Observation of a real and unscripted PoP by educators.
- Sample situations in schools where teachers or leaders could use PoP.
- Checks for understanding and reflection opportunities.
- Free summary guide to download and use when you host your first PoP.
The goal is to host several live and national Problem of Practice events during 2023 and you are invited. If you are interested in participating and want to submit a possible question, send an email to [email protected] and someone will respond to begin that conversation.
