SMS Operations – Mass Withdrawal in PowerSchool Job Aid

Mass Withdrawal is the process in which students who are not returning for the next school year are transferred out of PowerSchool. There are two (2) phases of Mass Withdrawal—one that happens after the school year ends and another one at the beginning of the following school year. During these phases, determining student transfers will depend on their re-registration status. Students in the statues of not registering, undecided, or unknown will be transferred out during one of these phase.
