Use this unit to understand the requirements for copying courses. This unit does not apply to the following courses which cannot be copied.
Please note, 3rd party courses and/or course content should never be copied. Reference your school’s Course Crosswalk to determine both the vendor and Course Copy status of the course before using the Course Copy Tool. Some examples of courses that should not be copied include:
- Alivetek
- Apex
- CodeHS
- eDynamic
- iCev
- Intellitek
- McGraw Hill
- MSi
- Newsela
- Pointful
- Stride Skills Arcade
- VHL
Course shells should not be populated with any K12 or licensed 3rd party content. The use of the Course Copy Tool will only be successful with the same course types (e.g. Summit copied to Summit, year-long to year-long).
The certificate for this course is required to acquire course administrator credentials.
